Chairperson

We would like to inform you that our current Chairperson, Nessan Vaughan, will be concluding his term on the 31st of March. After three years of dedicated service, after completing his term of office, he has been invited to take on a number of interesting and challenging opportunities elsewhere in the sector. We sincerely thank him for his hard work, commitment, and invaluable support to our organisation. He has given generously of his time and effort, and we wish him all the best in the future.

The appointment of a new Chairperson is made by the Archbishop of Dublin, and we have been liaising with his office regarding this process. At this time, the position remains open. If any member of the Deaf community is interested in taking on the role of Chairperson, we would love to hear from you. Additionally, we are actively seeking new board members, particularly individuals with expertise in IT, Finance, HR, and General Governance. However, we are especially eager to welcome members of the Deaf community to the board. If you or someone you know has an interest in contributing to the organisation at this level, we would be delighted to receive applications.
