Supported Living Services
Reach Deaf Supported Living Services offers high quality supports, through ISL, to people living in their own homes. We provide the Deaf Community with access to one-on-one support through ISL for daily activities, social and community participation, allowing service users to learn and develop the skills and confidence to live independent lives.
By supporting service users using their preferred language, we aim to provide a quality service by matching service users with support workers based on communication and interests to ensure the best possible outcomes
The Reach Deaf Supported Living Services team supports service users using a tailored, holistic and person-centred approach. Support workers in consultation with service users identify and achieve valued social roles to enhance the skills of service users so they can live a life of their choosing.
The model of support we provide is based on Social Role Valorisation and Self – Directed Living that aims to enhance the lives of the people we support by providing them with the necessary skills they need to embrace the challenges of the wider community and have more valued social connections. Our Team provides specialised services, supports the cultural and communication needs of the Deaf Community and is overseen by a Head of Adult Services, experienced Team Leaders, support team and clinical team.
