Announcement 3rd Round Grant
Reach Deaf Services launches a call for the third round of its grants fund and announces the successful application from the second round
Reach Deaf Services are delighted to launch a third and final round of funding for organisations and individuals leading projects that will improve the lives of d/Deaf people in Ireland.
Organisations or individuals can apply for up to €75,000 in grant funding. The deadline for this round is 19th Feburary. Please note that priority will be given to applicants that have received no previous funding from the grant committee.
It is open to both organisations and individuals. This is an exciting opportunity for Reach Deaf Services to support the Deaf Community

We would like to congratulate the organisations/individuals who were successful in the 2nd round:
- Anne Sullivan Centre – Hosting four family events to connect and support individuals within the deafblind community.
- Cork Deaf Club – IT equipment and photo project to compile a visual history of the Club from 1947 until the present day
- Curious North Production – Employment of Deaf crew on the film and a bespoke Film & TV training programme for Deaf crew to run parallel to the production.
- Saved by the Sign – Social Inclusion Project Workshops for different target groups within the Irish Deaf community.
- Sign Language Interpreting Service – Enhancing Accessibility in Irish Sign Language
- Trinity Centre for Maternity Care Research – development of free online resources for deaf pregnant women birthing in Ireland, and for use by all maternity healthcare professionals
- Irish Deaf Society – Deaf Career Project, a one-year programme that will cater for Deaf individuals throughout the Republic of Ireland.
